Category: Events
Description On April 27, a gunman opened fire in the Chabad of Poway synagogue with tragic consequences in what appeared to be a hate crime. It was a fast-moving national news story and a traumatic event for the local community. Hear from the public relations and media professionals who were called upon to help communicate and report in the minutes, hours and days that followed. Learn how their crisis preparation and training helped them respond effectively; insights they acquired while navigating the experience; and what steps you can take to manage a crisis before, during and after the news breaks. This event is co-hosted by PRSA SD/IC and CAPIO Panelists
