EPIC Awards

CAPIO's EPIC awards program recognizes the most creative and effective efforts in the areas of communication and marketing campaigns, newsletter production, photography, special events, writing, Web site development and video production.

The EPIC Awards honor work that transcends innovation and craft - work that made a lasting impact, providing an equal chance of winning to all entrants regardless of company or agency size and project budget.  If your work moved people, we want to give it a chance to take home an EPIC.

About the EPIC Awards Program

CAPIO ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

Each year, CAPIO recognizes communicators who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and public communications excellence with three special awards—the lifetime achievement Paul B. Clark Award, Communicator of the Year and the Frank Potter Cowan Crisis Communications Leader Award.

An Achievement Awards Committee comprised of members from the CAPIO Board of Directors and experts in the field will review entries and select a winner for each special award.

Finalists and/or their nominators may be asked to provide additional information. The winner will be officially announced and honored at the EPIC Awards Dinner on Wednesday, April 10 during CAPIO’s annual conference from April 8 through April 11 at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach. Both third-party and self-nominations are accepted and encouraged!

Paul B. Clark Award

Nominate a distinguished communications professional for the Paul B. Clark award.  Honoring the memory of esteemed founding member and colleague Paul B. Clark, the award bearing his name is given to an individual who, in the judgment of the CAPIO Board of Directors, demonstrates exceptional leadership and lifetime achievements in the communications field. The award recipient is recognized for professional commitment, mentoring of others and fostering a greater understanding of the CAPIO function among professional colleagues, community members and the media.
